Hay Fire Near Mount Pleasant in the Mount Lofty Rangers
ISSUED FOR MOUNT PLEASANT
The Country Fire Service advises crews are working to extinguish a hay stack fire near Mount Pleasant in the Mount Lofty Rangers.
Crews are working to extinguish around 50 hay bales. Crews will be on scene for a number of hours to be able to extinguish hot spots and this may cause a significant amount of smoke to be present around the Mount Pleasant area.
Hazards in the area may include reduced visibility due to smoke and emergency vehicles operating in the area. People with breathing difficulties should remain in doors and close windows and doors or move to a location you wont be impacted by smoke.
