CFS and Forestry crews are currently on scene at the Nunn Road fire. While the fire has now been listed as Contained further appliances and crews will be responding to the fire ground tonight to secure the fire edge and begin the long process of extinguishing any hot spots ahead of the Severe Fire Danger Ratings in the Mount Lofty Ranges tomorrow. Replacement crews and appliances will be changing over tomorrow morning.
While Main South Road has been reopened to traffic. Please drive with care as crews are actively working in the area.
A large number of burning trees and stumps are present across the fireground and visible from Main South Road.
Smoke may also be present in the area for the next few days.
