Naracoorte fire

Issued for NARACOORTE in the Lower South-East of South Australia.

CFS crews with the support of Department of Environment and Water staff will continue working on a fire today which is burning within containment lines in scrub north of Naracoorte, in the state's Lower South-East.

A warning message has been issued for the Naracoorte fire. Refer to the CFS website cfs.sa.gov.au for the most up to date warning information.

Smoke may be visible from the fire ground as crews undertake blacking out and mopping up operations.

If you see any active fires without crews in attendance, please report to 000.

Traffic restrictions are in place for Valley View Road, Martins Road and Wild Dog Valley Road. Access may not be possible to all areas until they are deemed safe. Follow the directions of emergency service personnel and signage.

To ensure your safety and that of CFS and other emergency personnel, please do not enter the area unless necessary.
