Naracoorte fire
Issued for NARACOORTE in the Lower South-East of South Australia.
Country Fire Service crews will tonight continue to work on a fire which is contained in scrubland north of Naracoorte, in the state's Lower South-East.
A warning message has been issued for the Naracoorte fire. Refer to the CFS website cfs.sa.gov.au for the most up to date warning information.
CFS volunteers will be supported by our partner agencies - including crews from the Department of Environment and Water.
Smoke may be visible from the fire ground as crews undertake blacking out and mopping up operations. If you see any active fires without crews in attendance, please report to 000.
Traffic restrictions remain in place for Valley View Road, Martins Road and Wild Dog Valley Road. Access may not be possible to all areas until they are deemed safe. Follow the directions of emergency service personnel and signage.
Further information and updates have been provided to homes and businesses in the surrounding area via a letterbox drop.
To ensure your safety and that of CFS and other emergency personnel, please do not enter the area unless necessary.
