NARACOORTE FIRE
Issued for NARACOORTE in the Lower South-East of South Australia.
Country Fire Service volunteers will continue to patrol and monitor a fire overnight which is contained in scrubland north of Naracoorte, in the state's Lower South-East.
Ground crews using thermal imaging cameras (TICs) will be on the look-out for any hot spots or hazards.
Due to Sunday's and Monday's elevated fire danger and extreme heat across the state, we ask everyone in the community to remain vigilant and if you see any active fires without crews in attendance, please report to 000.
The CFS has recently provided information to the fire affected region and the wider Naracoorte area via a letterbox drop.
To ensure your safety and that of CFS and other emergency personnel, please do not enter the area unless necessary and stay up to date with the most current information on the cfs website cfs.sa.gov.au.
