Naracoorte Pistol Club Road Fire

CFS wishes to advise that the fire burning in grass and scrub land near the Pistol Club Road and Haynes Edwards Road, Naracoorte in the Lower South East of South Australia is now contained. Some assets and structures in the area continue to smoulder and fire fighters are continuing to work at extinguishing any hot spots. CFS crews are patrolling the perimeter of the fire and consolidating a fire break around the burnt area.
Members of the public are advised to stay out of the area until until safe to return. Members of the public should avoid structures affected by fire due to the risk of structural collapse. If you are at home check your property for any fires and embers. Monitor conditions as they may change.
