One Tree Hill Fire

Last night, CFS crews responded to a grass and scrub fire burning east of One Tree Hill in the Adelaide Hills.

Thanks to the tremendous efforts of the CFS volunteer firefighters - supported by South Australian Police, Metropolitan Fire Service, and City of Playford crews assisting with tree-felling - the fire was quickly contained, limiting any impact to property.

This fire is now controlled, with approximately 8 hectares burnt.

Local CFS crews will continue to patrol the area at various times throughout the day, checking for any signs of reignition or hot spots, particularly given today's hot and windy conditions.

All roads around the fireground are currently open.

Residents in the area are advised to remain vigilant during this period of dry, hot and windy weather. Please report any smoke sightings or fallen trees impacting roads by calling Triple Zero (000).

The community is encouraged to stay informed and review their Bushfire Survival Plan, as conditions may change.
