Incident update for Fire at Overland Corner
ISSUED FOR OVERLAND CORNER
The CFS advises people in and around Cobdogla in the Riverland that smoke is visible in the area.
The smoke is from a fire burning in reeds along the Murray River and the smoke will be visible for most of the day.
CFS and DEW Crews are currently in attendance at the fire and are monitoring the fire. The fire does not currently pose any threat to the community.
CFS and DEW crews will continue to work through the day to extinguish this fire.
As a precaution residents in the area who suffer from respiratory or cardiac conditions may wish to consider closing all doors and windows and remaining indoors.
