B-Double roll-over EYRE HIGHWAY, PANITYA/KIMBA
ISSUED FOR EYRE HIGHWAY between PANITYA & KIMBA, EYRE PENINSULA SOUTH AUSTRALIA
SACFS crews, assisted by external agencies and contractors, continue to respond to a B-Double roll-over that occurred on the EYRE HIGHWAY between PANITYA and KIMBA on the EYRE PENINSULA. Early this morning, emergency responders freed two occupants from the wreckage who were transported for medical assistance.
SACFS HAZMAT operators continue to monitor the scene and cargo to ensure there is no escape of chemicals whilst recovery processes are undertaken. The EYRE HIGHWAY between PANITYA and KIMBA on the EYRE PENINSULA is currently closed to traffic, with responders hoping to reopen the highway between 6pm and 9pm Sunday evening.
