Paris Creek Grassfire
The CFS has been responding to a grass fire at Paris Creek, near Strathalbyn in the Mount Lofty Ranges, South Australia.
Approximately 140 CFS firefighters on 40 trucks are on scene working to extinguish and secure the area.
The fire is currently contained and has burnt 19 hectares of grass and scrub land on private property. CFS crews will remain on scene overnight to monitor this incident.
The cause of the fire is yet to be determined and Fire Investigators are currently on scene.
Roads are currently open around this incident however this may change at short notice. Continue to monitor road closures at: traffic.sa.gov.au.
Emergency services may be working on and around roads in the area, and motorists are advised to stay away. If you need to travel on roads in the area, please take care and drive to the local conditions.
