Penfield Fire
Issued for Penfield near Edinburgh in the Northern Suburbs.
The CFS advises that the threat posed by a bushfire burning near the Edinburgh RAAF base in Penfield in the Northern Suburbs has decreased.
CFS crews will remain overnight patrolling the area.
If any member of the public has chronic respiratory issues they are advised to close all windows and doors and stay inside if smoke is still present.
Both Womma Road and Stebonheath Road have been reopened, however road closures continue to remain in place including Andrews Road, Bellchambers Road. A full list of current road closures is available at www.traffic.sa.gov.au
To ensure your safety and that of firefighters and other emergency personnel who are working in the area, please do not enter the area unless necessary.
