The CFS, in partnership with MFS and National Parks and Wildlife Service, are continuing to monitor and patrol the fire ground and the waste management facility in Port Lincoln on South Australia's Lower Eyre Peninsula.
Potentially hazardous smoke has reduced in the area however the community are still advised to keep all windows and doors closed. If any member of the public has chronic respiratory issues they are advised to monitor conditions and seek medical assistance if required.
Crews will continue to monitor the fire ground throughout this week and into the weekend ahead of a forecast increase of higher temperatures arriving in the region on Wednesday.
