Incident Update Punkah Creek Fire
ISSUED FOR PUNKAH CREEK
CFS advises there is a fire burning on and around an island within Chowilla Conservation Park in the Riverland near Paringa, South Australia.
CFS and National Parks are currently onscene working to extinguish this fire, and will patrol the area to limit further outbreaks.
This fire may continue to burn for several days and smoke may be visible.
This fire currently poses no risk to the community.
Campers and other members of the public in the area need to remain informed as conditions may change, refer to the CFS website for the most up to date information.
