Red Creek Fire
Issued for RED CREEK near Woodchester and Mount Barker in the Mount Lofty Ranges.
Eight CFS Trucks and 40 Firefighters are in attendance at a grass fire on William Creek Road at Red Hill.
The CFS quickly gained control of the fire but not before it burnt about 40 hectares and some fencing. There were no Houses damaged by this fire.
The fire appears to the result of a burn off on private property. CFS reminds property owners in the Mount Lofty Ranges that the fire season ends on the 30th of April 2024.
Emergency services may be working on and around roads in the area, and motorists are advised to stay away. If you need to travel on roads in the area, please take care and drive to the local conditions.
