The CFS continues to respond to a scrub fire at Reedy Creek near Kingston in the Lower South East, South Australia.
Today's warmer weather has caused a significant increase in fire activity. Thirty CFS volunteer firefighters, in a joint response with National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS), are currently on the fireground, working to contain the fire with support from 6 aircraft, including water bombing and observation aircraft.
Additional incoming CFS firefighters and NPWS crews are on their way to help with the operations and will continue to work overnight.
Smoke is impacting roads in the area, and visibility may be reduced. To ensure your safety and that of firefighters and other emergency personnel who are working in the area, please do not enter the area unless necessary.
