Grass fire East of Robe
Issued for ROBE in the South East of South Australia.
The SA Country Fire Service (CFS) advises that there is a grass fire East of Robe in the South East of South Australia
CFS currently has 6 CFS trucks, and 18 CFS volunteer firefighters attending the fire, supported by 3 water bombing aircraft.
The spread of the fire has been halted, but crews will remain on scene moping up and making the area safe.
Hazards in the area may include reduced visibility due to smoke and emergency vehicles operating in the area. Due to the amount of people traveling for the Christmas period in the area, people are reminded to enact their Bushfire Plan and if you do not have to be in the area please avoid it.
