Grass Fire

Issued for Rocky Camp near Millicent in the Lower South East.

The CFS will remain at a grass fire that started near Millicent in the Lower South East into the night, working to extinguish hotspots and strengthen control lines.

Approximately 29 CFS firefighters are currently working on the fireground, supported by Forest Industry Brigades and 6 aircraft, including firebombers and observational aircraft. The operations are also being supported by SA Police and Farm Fire Units.

This fire may be causing smoke in the area, and members of the community are urged to take care, and avoid the area, SA Police have localised road restrictions in place.
