SLEAFORD GRASS FIRE

ISSUED FOR SLEAFORD

The SA Country Fire Service (CFS) advises people in and around the Tulka South area on the Lower Eyre Peninsula that smoke may be visible.

The cause of the smoke is a grass fire, one kilometer South of the Tulka Township on the corner of Proper Bay and Donnington Rds.

CFS resources are on scene and have halted the forward rate of spread. They will remain on scene for the next few hours to fully extinguish the fire.
