Solomon fire
Issued for SOLOMON near Kimba on the Eyre Peninsula.
The grass fire in the Caralue Bluff Conservation Park near Kimba in the Eastern Eyre Peninsula of South Australia has flare ups near the containment lines and this fire is continuing to burn.
Approximately 8 CFS trucks are currently on the fireground alongside 8 Department for Environment and Water trucks, observational aircraft and plant equipment.
Crews remain on the fire ground working to put out any hotspots burning in scrub and native vegetation.
Additional firefighters will be travelling today from across South Australia to relieve crews and support with monitoring this fire into the early hours of tomorrow morning.
To ensure your safety and that of firefighters and other emergency personnel who are working in the area, please do not enter the area unless necessary.
