SPRING GULLY FIRE
ISSUED FOR SPRING GULLY
The CFS is attending a fire at Hughes Park near Stringy Bark Track in the Clare Valley Region.
The fire is 1 hectare in size and has been contained.
The area is difficult to access due to the terrain.
Aircraft were able to access the area, and the use of a combination of foam and retardant managed to contain the fire.
CFS crews are walking into the area on foot to consolidate the efforts of the aircraft.
Crews will remain at the fire until it is made safe and are planning to complete the work tonight.
