Multiple fires due to lightning strikes in Riverland
ISSUED FOR STOCKYARD PLAIN
The CFS is currently attending multiple fires in the Stockyard Plain, Naidia, New Well, Murbko, Cadell and Markaranka areas.
Widespread lightning strikes across the Riverland Fire Ban District have ignited many small fires, with crews moving quickly to extinguish them as they are reported.
If you see a fire that is not attended to in your area, please phone triple zero (000) and activate your Bushfire Survival Plan.
