Hay Fire near Kadina on the Yorke Peninsula
ISSUED FOR TICKERA
The Country Fire Service advises crews are working to extinguish a hay stack fire near Kadina on the Northern Yorke Peninsula.
Crews have spread out the hay to be able to extinguish hot spots and this is causing a significant amount of smoke to be present around the Spencer Highway, Port Broughton Road and the township of Alford.
Hazards in the area may include reduced visibility due to smoke and emergency vehicles operating in the area. People with breathing difficulties should remain in doors and close windows and doors or move to a location you wont be impacted by smoke.
