Incident Update for Uleybury fire
UPDATED ROAD CLOSURE INFORMATION ISSUED FOR ULEYBURY
CFS advises that the fire near Craigmore Road, Uleybury has been contained between Craigmore Road, Viney Drive and Uley Road.
Crews are working in difficult terrain and will remain on site for a considerable amount of time to complete control lines and monitor for hot spots.
CFS advises the following roads are currently closed to traffic:
One Tree Hill Road from Medlow Road to Uley Road
Uley Road from One Tree Hill Road to Chapman Road
Chapman Road from Viney Drive to Medlow Road
Medlow Road from Craigmore Road to One Tree Hill Road
AND Craigmore Road from Vivian Road to Medlow Road.
To ensure your safety, that of firefighters and other emergency personnel in the area, please do not enter the surrounding areas unless necessary. Hazards may include reduced visibility due to smoke, raised dust, fallen trees on roads and emergency vehicles operating in the area. People with respiratory conditions are advised to close doors and windows and keep any required medication in reach.
