Mulch Fire at Wandilo.
ISSUED FOR WANDILO
CFS are currently attending a fire at the Bio Gro Australia mulch plant at Wandilo, 10 km North West of Mount Gambier in the Lower South East of South Australia.
CFS currently have six (6) fire trucks and a bulk water carrier on scene. An additional four (4) fire trucks as well as local forest owners are responding to assist local fire crews.
Smoke from this fire may be visible from Mount Gambier and surrounding areas.
This fire currently poses no direct threat to the community. Should the situation change, the CFS will issue upgraded incident information and warnings to the community.
As there is a large number of fire fighting resources operating in the area, the community is asked to stay clear.
