Marion Bay Road White Hut fire contained
ISSUED FOR WHITE HUT
CFS advises that this fire has been contained, however a fast moving wind change is still expected this afternoon which may cause the fire to spread rapidly in a north easterly or easterly direction toward the locality of White Hut, Hundred Line Road, and the Yorke Highway.
To ensure your safety, that of firefighters and other emergency personnel who are working in the area, please do not enter the area unless necessary.
The following road closures are in place and access will only be provided to emergency services, essential services and personnel authorised by the Incident Controller:
Ilfracombe Road from Yorke Highway and Hundred Line Road to Marion Bay Road
Marion Bay Road, from Ilfracombe Road to Lower White Hut Road, Lower White Hut
Authorised personnel may include Bona fide residents. You may be required to provide a drivers licence or similar photo ID before you enter the area. Please use caution as hazards such as falling trees, reduced visibility from dust and smoke and other vehicles may still be present.
Check and follow your Bushfire Survival Plan and be aware that conditions may deteriorate quickly due to the predicted wind change.
