Grass Fire at Willalooka
Issued for Riddoch Highway, Cannawigara Road and Chain Pump Road at Willalooka near Keith in the Upper South East of South Australia.
CFS volunteer firefighters on 5 fire trucks, supported by Farm Fire Units have now contained the fire at Willalooka, and remain on scene to mopping up and blacking out the fire.
Firefighters have prevented the fire from spreading to surrounding farmland, with only a hectare of farming land impacted.
SA Police have reopened the Riddoch Highway however, speed restrictions are still in place, as CFS Volunteers are working on and around roads in the area.
