Williamston Fire
ISSUED FOR WILLIAMSTOWN
The fire at Williamstown, east of the Barossa Reservoir, has been halted, but the significant winds are pushing embers into unburnt areas, causing some concern for firefighters on the ground.
There are 14 CFS trucks currently on the scene, and it is expected that our volunteers will remain in the area well into the night, until the fire is completely extinguished.
Residents in the area are reminded to monitor conditions and the situation throughout the evening, as the dynamic weather evolves.
