Wilmington Scrub Fire
Issued for WILMINGTON in Mount Remarkable National Park in the Flinders Ranges.
The CFS is responding to a scrub fire near Alligator Gorge, located near Wilmington in Mount Remarkable National Park in the Flinders Ranges, South Australia.
Approximately 16 CFS firefighters are currently working on the fireground, supported by Department of Environment and Water personnel and 7 aircraft, including firebombers and observational aircraft.
Mount Remarkable National Park will be closed until further notice.
Smoke is impacting roads in the area, and visibility may be reduced. To ensure your safety and that of firefighters and other emergency personnel who are working in the area, please do not enter the area unless necessary.
The cause of the fire is yet to be determined.
