Wrattonbully Fire at Edenhope and Border Roads

ISSUED FOR WRATTONBULLY

The SACFS has responded to a grass fire on the South Australian and Victorian border at Edenhope and Border Roads. The SACFS had a large number of fire trucks attending the fire and have been assisting the Country Fire Authority.
The fire has crossed into Victoria and is continuing to burn in an easterly direction.The fire is now being managed by Emergency Management Victoria (EMV), who are now carrying out warning messages and as such, the public will need to access the EMV website for information www.emergency.vic.gov.au
The fire on the South Australian side of the border is now contained and crews will monitor it overnight.
