Update for Yorketown fire - Relief Centre moved
ISSUED FOR YORKETOWN, EDITHBURGH, COOBOWIE, TROUBRIDGE POINT AND PORT GILES
CFS advises that the Yorketown fire is controlled, and crews will continue to intermittently check for potential hotspots.
Property owners in the fire affected area are advised that hazards may be present such as smoke, dust, falling trees and emergency services and other vehicles operating in the area.
For people with issues relating to their animals and livestock contact the PIRSA Hotline on 1800 255 556.
The Emergency Relief Centre has now re-located to the Yorketown Town Hall, 15 Edithburgh Road, Yorketown. Anyone who is displaced by this fire, unsure whether they can go home or otherwise affected by this fire is encouraged to seek assistance at the centre which is open from 8.00am to 6.00pm daily.
Members of the public are advised to report any active fire to Triple Zero (000).
