Yumali Stubble Fire

CFS, Farm fire units and earth moving machinery are currently on scene at a stubble fire in the Yumali area.
The fire is burning in an EAST NORTH EASTERLY direction towards Netherton, Jabuk and Geranium near Lameroo in the Murraylands.
Weather conditions today have meant fighting the fire directly has been difficult, but with the improving weather conditions overnight, crews will continue to actively work to contain the fire.
Smoke will be visible in the area for some time and may limit visibility on nearby roads.
The community are advised to drive to the conditions and be aware that emergency services will be working within the area.
