YUMALI STUBBLE FIRE

The Yumali Fire has burnt approximately 4900 hectares of grass, crop and stubble with patches of scrub also impacted. The fire progressed quickly through the vegetation on Thursday but is now contained.
CFS along with Farm Fire Units and earth moving machinery continue to work strengthening control lines, ahead of today's warmer weather.
PIRSA are assisting the community with injured stock. Councils are assisting with the supply of machinery.
There are a number of haystacks that are producing smoke from this fire. Crews are working to break them up and put them out.
