Testing of Bushfire Warning Messages Today

SA Country Fire Service (CFS) will today undertake testing of its new Bushfire Warning Messages.

Therefore you may see messages with TEST written where location should be.

Please do not be alarmed, these are simply test messages to ensure CFS systems are working efficiently in the lead up to the Fire Danger Season.

A new Incident Update will also be tested. The Incident Update will be used to give additional information about a fire and will be located next to the Warning Flag on the Incidents and Warnings page on the CFS website.

Any Bushfire Warning Message issued without TEST in the location, is a true warning message, so please take the necessary action to keep you and your family safe.

The testing will last approximately 8 hours.
