CFS advises that crews are responding to a significant mulch fire.

The incident is burning at the Jeffries Soils Facility at McEvoy Road Buckland Park in large piles of compost.

This fire is expected to burn throughout the night and may produce large amounts smoke.

Smoke may reduce visibility on roads and motorists are advised to drive with care.

Residents in the area are advised to stay indoors and shut all doors and windows.

There is a small risk that this fire may escape and result in a grass fire.

Emergency Services are in attendance and will remain at the scene until further notice.
