Issued for Emu Flat, Clare and Armagh

CFS advises that a bushfire at Clare in the Clare Valley near the western side of the Clare Township near Bennys Hill Road, Neagles Rock Road, Emu Flat Road, Kelly Street, Essington Avenue, Henry Street, Albert Street and William Street may threaten your safety.

Check and follow your Bushfire Survival Plan. If you are not prepared, leave now. Only leave if the path is clear to a safer place.

The EMU FLAT fire is travelling in a westerly direction towards Emu Flat Road, a easterly direction towards Bennys Hills Road and Neagles Rock Road and the township of Clare and a northerly direction towards Blyth Road and Armagh.

The fire is uncontrolled and burning in Scrub - conditions are continually changing.

You should not enter this area as the roads may not be safe.
