CFS Advises that the fire near Clare in the Clare Valley is not currently active but this may change as the day progresses. Crews are working to establish control lines around the fire. As the day warms and wind increases this may result in an increase in fire activity, which in turn may threaten your safety. CFS crews will be in attendance throughout the day patrolling the area, completing control lines and responding to any active fire. Residents in the area are advised to remain vigilant during the day and continue to check and follow your Bushfire Survival Plan as conditions may change. To ensure your safety, that of firefighters and other emergency personnel who are working in the area, please do not enter the area unless necessary.
