Message ID: 0001788
Time Message Issued: 17:13
Date Message Issued: 08/02/2018

Fire Origin / Fire Name: EMU FLAT

Issued for Emu Flat, Clare and Armagh

CFS is attending to a breakout within the fire-ground of the Emu Flat Fire in the Clare Valley to the west of the Clare township. Whilst this breakout is currently contained, weather conditions may still lead to further breakouts over the coming hours. Residents in the area, particularly to the North, East and South of the fire, are advised to remain vigilant over the next 36 hours and to check and follow their Bushfire Survival Plans as conditions may change. To ensure your safety and that of fire fighters and other emergency personnel who are working in the area, please do not enter the area unless necessary. Hazards may include reduced visibility due to smoke, fallen trees blocking roads and emergency vehicles operating within the area. If you are not prepared leave now. Only leave if the path is clear to a safer place.
