CFS advises that a Bushfire at Middle River on Kangaroo Island,North Coast Road may threaten your safety.

Check and follow your Bushfire Survival Plan. If you are not prepared, leave now. Only leave if the path is clear to a safer place.

The MIDDLE RIVER fire continues to travel in an easterly direction towards North Coast Road and surrounding areas towards to coast.

The fire is uncontrolled and burning in scrub and grasslands and conditions are continually changing, Fire Crews will be working through the night constructing control lines and working to contain the spread of the fire.

There are road blocks in place and you should not enter this area as the roads may not be safe.
