Message ID: 0001826
Time Message Issued: 11:52
Date Message Issued: 10/02/2018

Fire Origin / Fire Name: MIDDLE RIVER

Issued for Middle River

A south westerly wind change is currently impacting on the fire ground. Whilst the forward rate of spread remains halted, changing weather conditions may result in an increase in fire activity, which in turn may threaten your safety. CFS crews are continuing to  patrol the area, strength control lines and extinguish hot spots.   Residents in the area are advised to remain vigilant and continue to check and follow their Bushfire Survival Plan as conditions may change. To ensure your safety, that of firefighters and other emergency personnel who are working in the area, please do not enter the area unless necessary. Hazards may include reduced visibility due to smoke, fallen trees blocking roads, and emergency vehicles operating in the area.
