Bushfire Management Area Plans
Important Update:
The Independent Review into the 2019/2020 SA Bushfires has been released with a number of key recommendations for improvements to bushfire management planning processes. CFS is working with government on ways to implement any changes that flow from the recommendations. Further details will be provided when available.
Note: The maps that form part of each BMAP do not show building planning zones. Please refer to Building or developing in bushfire prone areas and use the Property Location Browser for information relating to building planning requirements.
Adelaide and Mount Lofty Ranges
Status: Approved (July 2016)

Lower Eyre Peninsula
Status: LEP BMAP 2.0 – Approved by SBCC 14th August 2020
The LEP BMAP 2.0 supersedes the 2015 Provisional LEP BMAP.
The BMAP consists of a text document and risk and treatment registers which are all available within the online map:

Latest Update
Included in the online map is the written document that provides an overview of the region as well as a summary of the risk assessment methodology and key points or areas of concern for the LEP Bushfire Management Committee (BMC).
The LEP BMAP includes a map showing the environmental assets at risk from bushfire. These assets have been assessed using the methodology developed by the Ecological Technical Reference Group (a Working Group of the State Bushfire Coordination Committee - SBCC).
The LEP Bushfire Management Committee is working on implementation planning, monitoring and reporting.
