Fire Damages Anembo Park Clubhouse

Just after 0230am this morning SA Country Fire Service (CFS) firefighters were responded to multiple alarms activating at the Anembo Park Sporting Complex Clubhouse on Princes Highway Littlehampton.

Confirmed by SA Police patrol who advise flames were visible, when initial crews arrived the alarm was quickly upgraded and further appliances responded.

Firefighters, using high pressure lines and breathing apparatus, took just over 30 minutes to contain the fire mainly to the kitchen and toilet area of the building, however much of the clubhouse has sustained substantial damage.

In total 30 CFS firefighters from seven appliances attended fire.

SA Police and SA Metropolitan Fire Service Fire Cause Investigators have been requested to attend and will be on scene this morning, there is currently no dollar damage estimate and at this stage the cause has been listed as undetermined.

SA Ambulance were also on scene.
