More SA Firefighters to help Queensland

A second round of firefighter strike teams will depart Adelaide today to aid colleagues in Queensland.
In total 55 firefighters will depart from Adelaide today to replace 55 SA firefighters currently deployed.
SA Country Fire Service (CFS) firefighters, SA Metropolitan Fire Service (MFS) firefighters and SA Ambulance Service paramedics will depart throughout the day today, with a second round of 18 Incident Management Team specialists also departing tomorrow at 3:00pm.
SA firefighters will be deployed in strike teams to support Queensland Fire and Emergency services and Queensland Rural Fire Service firefighters throughout SE and Central Queensland.
The firefighters comprise of 13 CFS Region 1 volunteers and staff, eight CFS Region 2 volunteers, six CFS Region 3 volunteers, eight CFS Region 4 volunteers, three CFS Region 5 volunteers, three CFS Region 6 volunteers and staff, 11 MFS firefighters and three SA Ambulance Service paramedics.
IMT specialists will be working with local teams in Incident Control Centres at Canungra and Warwick.
