Storms stir dust and soot from Pinery fire ground
19/12/2015
Communities living in the Adelaide and northern suburbs regions are advised that a significant volume of dust is being stirred up by strong winds.
The dust clouds closely resemble smoke because they contain ash and soot from the recent Pinery Fire.
The CFS has received numerous calls from concerned members of the community.
At this time, we can confirm this is not a result of fire.
People in the dust-affected area are advised to close all doors and windows and stay indoors if you suffer from any respiratory or cardiac conditions.
Road users are advised to use caution on the roads as the dust may reduce visibility.
