House fire in Birdwood - 9 August 2024

Just after 11:00 pm, CFS firefighters responded to a house fire in Birdwood in SA’s Adelaide Hills.

Twenty-five CFS volunteers on 5 trucks attended the fire, supported by SA Ambulance and SA Police, with the fire resulting in an estimated $100,000 in damages.

All occupants were able to evacuate, with SA Ambulance paramedics treating them for smoke inhalation.
