$300,000 house fire in Strathalbyn- 14 May 2024
6 CFS crews with approximately 30 firefighters are attending an estimated $300,000 single story house fire on Queen Street in Strathalbyn. The house was fully involved when firefighters arrived on scene.
Crews will continue working to contain the blaze and protect neighbouring properties into the early hours of this morning. One occupant was in the house when the fire started and has been taken to hospital.
Fire cause is currently unknown but is thought to be accidental and Fire Investigators have been notified.
