$300,000 Structure fire at Naracoorte - 27 January 2023

20 CFS volunteers on five trucks, supported by SA Ambulance Service and SA Police personnel, are responding to a structure fire at Jenkins Terrace in Naracoorte.

Crews from Naracoorte and Hynam found the house engulfed by fire, which was believed to have started in the rear garden. Unfortunately, one of the residents has been admitted to Naracoorte hospital with minor burns, the other was not home at the time of the incident.

Losses are estimated at approximately $300,000.

The fire is contained however it’s expected CFS crews will be on scene for some time.

Fire cause investigators will attend later this morning.
