$500,000 structure fire at Clare - 27 January 2023
Approximately 25 volunteer firefighters on eight trucks attended a structure fire which started in Beare Street in Clare this afternoon.
After seeing smoke coming from the shed at the rear of the property, the resident called triple zero and safely evacuated. The fire has destroyed a large shed which housed two vintage cars.
Losses are estimated at $500,000. Fire cause investigators have confirmed that cause of the fire is not suspicious.
Crews will remain at the property until it is safe to depart.
