Caravan fire at Auburn - 4 March 2025
Lithium ion batteries have started a caravan fire in Auburn, in the states Mid North.
Caravan occupants spotted smoke coming out of the batteries before the fire had started. The caravan was exited safely with no reported injuries. The fire has completely engulfed the approximately 12 month old caravan causing an estimated damage amount of $175,000.
CFS firefighters are on scene monitoring the fire to ensure it does not extend to surrounding grass.
