Caravan fire at Streaky Bay - 17 March 2025

Two trucks carrying six firefighters responded to Triple O to attend a caravan fire at 1pm at Streaky Bay on the state’s West Coast.

Upon arrival, volunteers found the caravan completely ablaze and were unable to prevent its destruction and could only extinguish the fire, the cause of which is unknown.

The caravan’s owners were not present at the time the fire started.

Total value of the caravan and contents was estimated at $90,000.
