Container fire at Blyth - 3 September 2024
Firefighters on two CFS trucks were called to a container fire just after 2:30 this afternoon at a property in Blyth, in the mid north of South Australia, west of the Clare Valley.
Crews arrived to find a storage container on the property alight. Although firefighters effectively suppressed and contained the fire, both the container and its contents were destroyed, with losses estimated at $50,000.
CFS crews were assisted by SA Police and Fire Investigators have been notified.
